AI training built around your school
Teach your staff to configure AI tools, build reusable workflows, and create materials for students, including course websites. Teachers learn to evaluate what they produce for accuracy, instructional quality, and the thinking each lesson asks students to do.
Discuss training for your schoolTraining tailored to your school
We begin with your curriculum leader or school leadership to agree on the goals, then plan the training and follow-up support around your staff's needs. Schools can book individual services or a continuing engagement.
Plan with school leadership
We discuss your curriculum, your staff's experience with AI, and what you want the training to accomplish. Together, we choose the focus, format, and scope.
Build practical skills
Teachers work with the tools and materials relevant to those goals. Sessions can cover tool configuration, reusable workflows, instructional content, and course websites, with guided practice and review.
Continue with coaching
Follow-up sessions help teachers apply what they have learned, troubleshoot problems, and refine their materials. Coaching is arranged around the goals agreed with school leadership.
Training and coaching
Half-day and full-day workshops
Hands-on training for a whole staff or department. Teachers work with the school's selected AI tools and rework a lesson or document of their own.
On-site coaching
Individual and team support using current curriculum, materials, and instructional questions. Sessions focus on teachers' preparation for their own classes.
Virtual sessions and office hours
Live training and continuing support between school visits.
Keynotes and briefings
Presentations for staff, leadership teams, and school boards. The school receives the presentation materials.
Family information nights
An evening discussion of student AI use, school expectations, privacy, and families' questions.
Choose the scope that fits
A first engagement for a single school: initial training plus follow-up coaching.
Training and continuing support across a full school year.
The same work delivered across a district of three or more campuses.
Concentrated, multi-day training in the weeks before the school year begins.
Alcuin Start and The Alcuin Year have elementary and secondary versions. Student-facing work is adapted to the age group.
Pricing is by proposal, based on the scope, school or district size, and services included.
What to bring
Bring lessons, unit plans, rubrics, assessments, and other planning materials. We use the AI platform your school has selected and can help leaders evaluate options if that decision is still open.
Student work, grades, and records stay out of training sessions. Exercises that call for student data use invented examples or aggregate information that does not identify students.
