The framework, curriculum, lessons, posters, and the text and design of this site are our work unless they are credited to someone else. That includes the wording of the AI Norms for Classrooms and the AI literacy framework and its strands. Publishing them here does not place them in the public domain or offer them under an open licence.

You are welcome to read the site, print a page for your own reference, and quote a short passage with attribution to The Alcuin Project. Reproducing a poster, a lesson, or a substantial part of the framework needs our written permission first. Write to us with what you would like to use and how you plan to use it.

Schools working with us receive materials under the terms of their own agreement, and those terms govern what the school may do with them.

Work we did not write

The framework crosswalk cites published guidance from AILit, Digital Promise, UNESCO, and the states of Arizona and Utah. Those documents belong to their publishers. We cite them with page references and quote only as much as identifying a comparison requires. The mapping is our reading of them and should not be attributed to their publishers.
